Where everyone is family! You will be welcomed and loved on as soon as you approach the door. We are a diverse church that loves God and loves people. Our mission is to reach people for Jesus, train people on how to follow Jesus, and send people out to make much of Jesus.

There is much to learn about Acts Community Church (Acts) and we hope that this website helps you get to know us. Here is some helpful information:

What should I wear?
The majority of people who attend Acts dress casually on Sundays. While we occasionally have people dress up for church, we do not have a culture that expects that. We want you to wear whatever you are comfortable wearing.

What time and where?
We currently have our worship gathering on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. You can click here to see a map.

Where do I park?
There are two parking lots. The front is to the left of the church for families, single mothers, and handi cap. Second parking is right across the street in the State Farm parking lot, and third parking is on the side of the street in front of church. There will be signs directing you toward the entrance.

What do you have for my kids?
Our Acts Kids Ministry is for toddlers 1 yr old- 4th grade. Volunteers and signs can guide you to children’s check in area (through the left door in the sanctuary). Down the hallway is the check-in area where younger toddlers (ages 1-4) are checked in and dropped off to their class. Children Kinder - 4th grade can be checked in at this time but are encouraged to stay in worship gathering on Sunday mornings and then dismissed by the pastor to go to class. Students in 5th grade and up join us for the worship gathering on Sunday mornings.

What denomination is Acts Community Church?
We are affiliated with the Acts 29 Network, The Gospel Coalition, and the Texas Baptists. We are inter-denominational; we have people from all different denominational backgrounds. To learn more about our affiliations you can click here.

Do you offer Adult Sunday School?
No. We offer Missional Community Groups throughout the week in the homes of our people. We often share a meal, prayer, study the Bible, and enjoy time with one another. To learn more about our Missional Community Groups, click here.

What kind of worship music do you have?
We have both hymns and modern worship songs. Our style is more modern in feel, and Christ-centered in focus.

What kind of preaching do you have?
Our Lead Pastor, Billy Bernhard, is an expository preacher, meaning he teaches directly for the Bible. You will often find us going through a book of the Bible, and from time-to-time we do topical series, but still biblically based.
